Technical update on the manufacturing process and technology for EPDM membrane and pond liner :
Conventionally the calendering technology is used to produce the EPDM membranes and pond liner. The use of such a technology/equipment usually gives blisters (air pockets) in the surface of the sheet. This can be seen if one inspects the sheets very closely. It probably isn’t wise to use sheets with such blisters. On the other hand, EPDM membranes manufacturer using the cold feed roller head technology produces a blister free EPDM sheet. Many Waterproofing systems fail to perform during water ponding. Polygomma EPDM membranes perform well even in water ponding areas. Even though a slope is mandatory on roofs/terraces, water tends to pond in some pockets, where conventional waterproofing products may fail. So choose well.

WATERPROOFING OF SMALL ROOFS:
Polygomma offers EPDM membrane with pre-buffed overlap areas, in panel size of 1200 mm X 30 meters/60 meters. The panels of this size would be ideal for small roofs and would still get the excellent advantages of EPDM membranes. These smaller rolls are easier to handle while installing on smaller roofs.The pre-buffed overlaps would help to make the overlap seams quicker and more secure.
Our EPDM membranes are manufactured in accordance to the applicable ASTM and EN standards and also have the CE certificate.
We also manufacture EPDM roofing membranes of widths upto 6 meters for larger roofs.
